Raisin Cocoanut Pie

1/2 lb Raisins; seedless
1 c Sugar
1 ea Egg
1 ts Vanilla
1/2 pt Water
2 tb Flour; heaping
1 pt Milk; sweet
Salt; a pinch

Cook raisins in water for 10 minutes on slow heat. Mix sugar, flour, salt, egg yolk, and one-fourth of milk together. Add remainder of milk and raisins boiling. Boil a little until it thickens, add vanilla. Pour in baked crust. Top with merigue and cocoanut and bananas (optional).
